This dehumidifier has received favourable reviews online on various sites. So in line with my aim, here is my unbiased product review for Keystone KSTAD50B.
The Keystone KSTAD50B possessed a clear LED display with in-built electronic controls for easy programming of settings. Two fan speed settings; Normal, Turbo allow you the flexibility to select settings best suited for your environment ranging from a dank basement to a room with sensitive equipment.
The incorporated 24-hour timer allow the setting of overnight programs to facilitate 24/7 moisture removal.
Auto-defrost function allow the automatic removal of built-up frost on the evaporator coils. Upon the build-up of frost, the compressor will cycle off while the fan will continue to run until the frost disappears.
This Keystone dehumidifier possess a removable, dust filter that is easy to clean. The bucket also possesses a transparent water level indicator allowing easy detection of water level. There is also the continuous draining option available (hose not included) that prevents overflowing of a full bucket.
The 4 rolling caster wheels allows easy transportation of KSTAD70B for installation in other rooms. Other in-built useful functions include: clean filter alert function that will warn the owner of a clogging filter; full bucket alert with automatic cut off to prevent overflowing; auto-restart option that will save your settings in the event of a power outage.
This Keystone dehumidifier utilises 15% lesser energy, compared to a similar sized conventional unit, for removal of moisture.

One positive feedback raised is its price; customers have mentioned that the KSTAD50B is a good and affordable 50-pint dehumidifier. Another good point mentioned is its nice, compact design that includes the filter that is located conveniently on the top without any removal of fasteners or covers to get access.

Unclear illustrations in the user manual, especially for the installation of the hose for the continuous draining option, is also mentioned. Wrong sizing of the provided continuous hose adaptor is not suitable to fit a standard garden house. It is mentioned to be smaller though a suitable hose can be purchased readily from a hardware shop.
The Keystone KSTAD50B comes with a full one-year warranty for the 1st year which include parts and labor. For the subsequent years until the 5th year, the warranty is limited to repairing and replacing of parts in the sealed refrigeration system which include compressor, condenser, evaporator and tubing.
